Meeting the global energy demand by delivering low-cost improved oil field recovery

Our Value Proposition

Industry unique patented technology

Significant NPV increase to oil field owners

Increased daily oil production ~ increased oil cut

Improved oil recovery rates and increased reserves

Reduced capex and operating costs per barrel

Reduced environmental footprint

Reduced scope 1 emissions (CO2 / barrel)

ITS Story

Impact Technology Solutions started life in 2008 with initial studies on the use of impact transient pressure pulses in the oil & gas industry. Four patents were granted in 2010 - 2012 covering the science, method and the impact transient pulse generating device used to improve oil field recovery. The company was established in November 2011. Initial laboratory and early tests on two oil fields in Texas, USA have generated results and indicate the potential to improve full field oil recovery by 10-20 percent and to significantly increase oil to water ratios in later-stage field production.
ITS is now looking for partnerships to further develop the technology, to conduct more verified field tests and to calibrate to support technology commercialisation.

Successful development and application of ITS technology has the potential to add significant value to existing producing fields by increasing production and ultimate recovery of reserves while reducing the environmental impact and maximizing the value of the asset.

Our technology differentiation
is the result of how systems and fluids behave in response to an impact transient pressure fronts

How we do it

Our pressure stimulation unit is attached to existing water injection wells.  A mechanically induced impact transient pressure front is transmitted through injected water which stimulates the release of bypassed oil, through the restricting pore throats into the injection water flushing through the reservoir towards the adjacent oil producing well.

Our Results

In the laboratory pressurised lab models showed recovery improving from 35% to > 60%, while tests on core samples see increased overall recoveries between 5-15%. Field testing shows up to a 3-fold increase in oil to water ratios. ITS technology has the potential to deliver significant reserves and production increases to existing producing fields

Fort Stockton field - oil cut development during pilot test

Our Approach

Is to work in a partnership with existing oil operators and oil field contractors to improve oil field recovery
